Diddy’s Legal Team Claims “Mutual Violence” Ahead of Cassie Trial Testimony

Diddy and Cassie trial The courtroom drama surrounding Diddy’s federal case hit a fever pitch on Day 4, as his legal team made a stunning claim: they’re not denying abuse, just reframing it.

Full details below…

The Bad Boy founder is currently facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. His relationship with Cassie forms a central part of the evidence prosecutors plan to present alongside the singer’s testimony.

As the case heats up, Diddy’s defense attorney Marc Agnifilo told Judge Arun Subramanian that the music mogul’s relationship with Cassie involved “hitting on both sides,” labeling it “mutual violence.” He added:

“We are absolutely going to admit to domestic violence. But at what point does it become coercive?”

Prosecutor Emily Anne Johnson made clear that certain medical issues wouldn’t be fair game in cross-examination, prompting a tense exchange about the scope of the defense’s argument.

Johnson also revealed plans to submit damning evidence, including two cellphone videos and corrected CNN footage of the now-infamous 2016 hotel assault.

As the trial barrels forward, it’s clear: this isn’t just a legal battle—it’s a war of narratives.

Does it seem like TGJ is pro diddy? How gross, yet not surprising given black culture.

BS, no excuse for a man hitting a woman and there’s nothing mutual about what I saw in that video. I’ll believe the unedited video shows otherwise when I see it.
