New Video: Miley Cyrus – ‘More to Lose’

Published: Tuesday 13th May 2025 by Rashad

Racing toward the May 30 release of her new album ‘Something Beautiful,’ Pop diva Miley Cyrus has given her dedicated fans (affectionately called #Smilerz) something beautiful to look at while they wait for the LP’s delivery: the music video for her new single ‘More to Lose.’

The fourth song from the project to get the video treatment following ‘Prelude,’ ‘Something Beautiful,’ and ‘End of the World,’ ‘Lose’ comes as a stripped-down, emotional ballad that sees the songstress reflect on the end of a passionate love affair.

“I stay / When the ecstasy is far away / And I pray / That it’s comin’ ’round again,” sings Cyrus. “And you say it / But I wish it wasn’t true, oh / I knew someday that one would have to choose / I just thought we had more to lose.”

Accompanying the tune’s arrival with a black-and-white music video directed by Jacob Bixenman, look inside to see and hear the latest from Miley.

I prefer my Miley singing over pop beats, not this top 40, department store beats. Is she trying to look like a human bird hybrid? Chile, I am entirely unsure.

Trash 🗑️ first of all, she never a vocalist. Her voice sounds like nails on chalkboard. Second, how are these new materials homage to Madonna’s ray of light album. Just put some experience stuff doesn’t make your album a masterpiece. Look at Camila’s XoXo. It is another whole damn mess💩

For all the hype and excitement everyone has when this era was announced, it’s fizzled out a faster than an alka selzer
