Carl Crawford is catching heat after posting a shiny stack of RIAA plaques tied to Megan Thee Stallion‘s hits – and the Hotties and not here for it.

On June 3, the 1501 Certified Entertainment founder hit Instagram with a “God is good” moment, showing off Megan’s platinum success like it was a joint victory, he wrote:
“Shoutout to Megan Thee Stallion. We had a little rough patch, but real ones always push through. Just got my new @riaa_awards plaques in… it’s a blessing to keep growing and keep building. Appreciate the journey, appreciate the lessons. Time to hang these up in the new studio.”

Fans quickly called foul, with one user commenting:
“Congratulations to Megan and Megan ALONE. Sounds like Megan still carrying the label.”
Crawford clapped back in his IG Stories, claiming:
“Everybody know, it take money to break an artist. $2 million to be exact.”
He doubled down in the comments, boasting:
“Don’t need to [sign anyone else]. I hit the jackpot on my first try.”
Megan sued Crawford in 2020 over a predatory contract. And while a confidential settlement was reached in 2023, fans are still making it clear – her success speaks for her, not him.
I don’t get from what did he even made money… She didn’t sell that much and streaming is not a good way to make money…
