Khalid got all sorts of emotional during his performance at WorldPride DC over the weekend.
The ‘Love Lies’ singer is living in his truth, having come out as gay last November.
Celebrating his identity, the star took center stage at the event as one of its top-billed performers.
During his set, Khalid became teary and opened up about how much the moment meant to him.

Speaking to the capacity crowd, the 27-year-old said:
“These are happy tears. This is my first time performing at Pride. This is my first time being at Pride. I want to thank you so much for supporting me, it makes me so happy. I feel like I am home here.”
