Rymir Satterthwaite has spent much of his adult life trying to prove that JAY-Z is his biological father, and – if recent statements made by the Philadelphia man are any indication – he’s far from done with the endeavor.
As reported here, Satterthwaite recently made headlines withdrawing his civil case against JAY after being slammed by the rapper for his “fabricated” story of being related.
The music mogul (born Shawn Carter) spoke out earlier this month via his legal team who branded Rymir’s chase for proof of paternity as “decades-long harassment.”
Despite the civil case drop, Satterthwaite – who alleges Carter had a romantic relationship with his late mother in the early 90’s – made clear the fight isn’t over.
“I have not stopped my fight, I did withdraw my case, but it’s for a reason,” Satterthwaite said on a social media video over the weekend (July 26). “I have not gotten a settlement. It is not over.”
The sentiment expressed in the video above echoes a statement the 31-year-old previously shared with ‘Daily Mail.’
“If he is not [my father], why can’t he prove me wrong?” Satterthwaite asked the outlet. “Go to the courtroom and do what everyone else has to do. I can take a no. I can take being embarrassed, I been through a lot. I could take me being embarrassed, I just can’t take him not saying nothing. It is not fair. I am coming to the courts for the truth.”
As suggested in the video, Rymir is considering options that will allow him to re-file the paternity suit.
At writing, he has not detailed what those plans are nor has JAY directly responded to his latest set of statements.

Jay Z isn’t under any legal obligation to prove anything to this man. If he’s really interested in knowing the truth he should hire a genealogist who can trace his biological history. Im sure someone in Jay’s family has an ancestry or 22andme account. Otherwise this young man should save himself some time and further anguish and just move on. Life isn’t fair. Many people will never get the answers they seek. It’s an unfortunate reality. The sooner he accepts this, the better.
I agree, it’s unfortunate his mother led him to believe that the man who signed his birth certificate was his father for so many years. Now, it’s too late for him to go around trying to force another man to take a test. For his own sake he needs to make peace with not knowing who his biological father is and move on with the other aspects of his life.
This man needs to get a life
Folks always want to try to manage others life, action, and their wallets. He needs to move on from his mother’s failures.

This is sad. Jay is similar to me in that he will ignore you if you do him wrong. An so called outing him or doing anything that looks money driven is one way he’d feel betrayed. You certainly wouldn’t get anything then. Even if his child or not it’s about doing him wrong and disrespect. You can’t double cross by going to the media or to the public to say hey ive been at this man publicize this for me so i can make him do what i want to shame him into getting what I want. And expect him to give you what you want. He might not care now because of how you went about it.
Pray about it and leave him and his family alone. He doesn’t want to be bothered no matter the situation. You running grinding pushing honkering him down after all these years just for the sake of running him down looks more like money and principal. Not love.
