Tems is turning her spotlight into a lifeline for the next generation. The two-time GRAMMY winner has officially launched the ‘Leading Vibe Initiative’ which is a visionary platform aimed at uplifting young women in music across Africa.

Set to kick off in August in Lagos, the program will offer hands on workshops, masterclasses and industry mentorship for emerging female artists, songwriters and producers. Speaking on the initiative Tems said:
“My goal with the Leading Vibe Initiative is to help discover and support talented young women who have the potential to redefine the industry. By providing access, tools and opportunity, we’re creating space for them to find their voices, step into their power and shape the future of music across the continent and globally.”
Inspired by her own journey navigating the industry without support, the ‘Leading Vibe Initiative’ will combat the glaring gender gap in music where women make up only 3% of producers globally.
Applications for Lagos launch are now open, with more rollouts planned across Africa and beyond. Tems is not just making hits – she’s making history.
