Diddy Scores Court Victory as Civil Assault Case Gets Tossed Out

Diddy just caught a legal break in the middle of his mounting troubles.

While the music mogul remains behind bars awaiting sentencing in his federal case, a New York judge has tossed out a civil lawsuit.

Full story below…

The plaintiff, identified as John Doe, accused Diddy of drugging and assaulting him back in 2015.

Doe alleged he was given a spiked drink at an L.A. nightclub before waking up to Diddy engaging in unwanted sexual contact. He also claimed the Bad Boy founder threatened his career if he resisted.

However, the judge ruled the claims fell outside the state’s 5-year statute of limitations, adding that a 2019 law extending it to 20 years does not apply retroactively.

Diddy’s companies, Bad Boy Entertainment and Combs Enterprises, were also dismissed from the case.

Still, with dozens of lawsuits pending, this win is just a small break ahead of his October 3 sentencing.
