Kid Cudi got all sorts of candid about the dangers of hardcore drugs in a new interview.
The Hip-Hop star is working the promotional trail in support of his new book, ‘Cudi: The Memoir.’
And it’s not just the inner pages that are seeing Cudi open up; he’s talking his truth face-to-face.

Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, has long been frank about his struggles with substance abuse, and he continued along said trajectory when asked on the Dinner With Sally podcast about his advice for young people.
He said:
“Do not do cocaine. Don’t do Molly. Don’t do meth. Don’t do heroin. You shouldn’t try any of that sh*t. It’s going to make you miserable. You’re going to be a sh*tty person. It’s going to f*ck with your creativity. It’s going to f*ck with everything about your mental. This is the first time anyone has asked me about what kind of guidance I would give about drugs. There is no happy ending to that story. It will just pull you down to the darkness, to hell. Literally, you will be at the basement of hell. And that’s where I was for years….in the basement of hell…living there. Damaged and tortured.”
