Before the current scandal surrounding D4vd, the rising star was already known for something darker than your average alt-pop aesthetic.
In a resurfaced interview, the ‘Here With Me’ performer broke down the murderous alter ego he created specifically for his music videos – a character he described as a way to externalise the emotions he didn’t always feel comfortable showing in real life.

The 20-year-old is currently at the center of ample discourse after 15-year-old Celeste Riva was found dead and dismembered in a car registered to him.
In the interview, he said:
“I put that all on screen, and me and Itami had a great time just like chopping it up and getting to kind of merge creative ideas on the entire thing.”
In videos like ‘Romantic Homicide’, fans will recall, this alter ego is front and centre – haunting, shadowy, and often surrounded by imagery of death, betrayal, and loneliness. While it was originally framed as an artistic device, the eerie creative choice has taken on a much more unsettling tone in light of recent events.
Still, fans are divided; some are rewatching his old visuals with new suspicion, while others insist the character was just another extension of his art.
Either way, the blurred line between D4vd’s on-screen alter ego and his real-life controversies is only fueling the conversation – and making his next move even more unpredictable.

Again, this site never posted about D4vd until he was accused of chopping up an underaged girl. No music videos, songs, etc. Only debatable sensationalism.
It would be nice if this site got back to posting mainly about music releases and videos, but that would probably be asking for too much.
