September 12 brings with it the arrival of Ed Sheeran‘s eighth studio album ‘Play.’
The follow-up to 2023’s ‘Autumn Variations,’ ‘Play’ comes as the first in a series of five symbol-themed albums and is set to be followed by ‘Pause,’ ‘Fast Forward,’ ‘Rewind,’ and ‘Stop.’
Boasting a nomenclature is reminiscent of his string of releases between 2011 and 2023 named after mathematical symbols, the new LP was supported by five singles – ‘Azizam,’ ‘Old Phone,’ ‘Sapphire,’ ‘A Little More,’ and ‘Camera’ – before its arrival to digital shelves.
Now, it’s available in full for your streaming pleasure via Apple Music and Spotify. Hear it inside.
