With Cardi mounting a strong physical format push (with several variants) and also setting sail on a week-long signing tour, it will be intriguing to see if that moves the needle more with follow-up updates.

Invasion of Privacy had more of an international & instantly catchy sound, accessible to more demographics, but Am I the Drama has more Layers, Musicality, Bars, Heat and Bangers… Also, more lyricism, more consistent tracklist, less fillers & a stronger theme.

I didn’t expect over 100k but she hit the ground running with promo but it’s too bad her singles sucked and the rollout was a mess amidst the 7 year wait a lot of her fans moved on and casual listeners weren’t that interested. She has a lot of work to do if she wants the album to be a true success like IOP.
