Tyrese is letting fans into his heart, and the R&B crooner didn’t hold back about Mary J. Blige.

During a candid Instagram Live, he revealed that his feelings were a little bruised after the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul turned down the chance to jump on two of his songs. He shared:
“I tried my best to get Mary J. Blige on both songs she passed on it. It’s ok. I feel a way about it I’m hurt. I’m really hurt, I can’t lie.”
Tyrese made it clear this was nothing but love for the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. He praised Blige’s legendary status and doubled down on his admiration, saying:
“You’re amazing, I love you.”

Mary j blige is the blueprint to Faith Evans, Sparkle, Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, and even Mariah Carey. Mariah Carey for dipping into Mary j blige later down the road. The albums that matter the most in Mary’s Catalogue will always have Pure sales.
