Chart Check [Hot 100]: Tinashe’s ‘No Broke Boys’ Remix Becomes Her Highest-Charting Hit in Over a Decade

Tinashe has been given yet another reason to cheer.

Just a month after learning her 2024 comeback hit ‘Nasty‘ became her first song since 2014’s ‘2 On‘ to be certified Platinum at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), she’s now celebrating a similarly aged milestone on Billboard thanks to the Disco Lines‘ remix of her ‘Quantum Baby‘ cut ‘No Broke Boys.’

Over a year after its original release, ‘No Broke Boys’ broke into higher ground on the updated Hot 100 and sees Tinashe (born Tinashe Kachingwe) printed at #39.

Here are the numbers that powered the placement.

  • Streaming 7 million U.S.-based streams
  • Sales ≈ 1,000 digital downloads
  • Radio airplay 9.1 million audience impressions

The handsome combo above helped the Disco Lines-fueled remix of ‘Broke’ break back into the top 40, matching its previous peak of #39 in the process.

While the chart placement marks a Hot 100 first for the DJ, music producer, and songwriter Disco (born Thadeus Francis Labuszewski), Tinashe – on the other hand – counts the entry as the sixth of her career and first since ‘Nasty’ peaked at #61 in 2024.

Of highest note, Kachingwe has not seen her name printed in the tally’s top 40 since her breakthrough single ‘2 On‘ soared to the #24 spot in 2014.
