Doja Cat has powered past the competition with her latest studio album, ‘Vie.’
Initially predicted to launch behind other notable new releases last week, the ‘Jealous Type’-led project has leapfrogged from last to finish in first place.

With the numbers tallied and verified, ‘Vie’ officially premieres at #4 on the Billboard 200.
And while its first week sales of 54,000 units are slightly behind initial projections (and her lowest of the decade), it sees the LP land ahead of the week’s biggest competition in the form of Mariah Carey (whose ‘Here For It All’ ultimately settled for a #7 debut with 49k sold) and Young Thug (whose ‘UY SCUTI’ opens at #6 with 52k).
As a result, Doja earns the spot of the top-selling new release of the week.
The relative win comes on the heels of the multiphenate performing on SNL and announcing her global trek, the ‘Tour Ma Vie World Tour.’
