Adekunle Gold is back and shining luminously with his flavorsome new album, ‘Fuji.’

Serving as the Afro-Pop pioneer’s sixth studio effort, the 15-song set sees the performer toasting his Nigerian heritage and the unique sound the project’s title encapsulates. Both historically and with his bold reimaging of the genre.

Lyrically, the LP finds Gold at his most open and vulnerable.

Indeed, while previous projects spotlighted themes of desire, fame, and self-defined success, ‘Fuji’ positions the performer on pensive, honest, and reflective terrain while navigating themes of hustle, grief, rebirth, and unapologetic expression.
