Nicki Minaj‘s legal woes are back in the spotlight, and this time, the stakes include her $20 million Los Angeles mansion. A long-running lawsuit from 2021 has resurfaced, with German security guard Thomas Weidenmüller claiming Minaj and husband Kenneth Petty assaulted him backstage after a heated argument.

According to his sworn statements, the alleged attack left him with severe facial injuries, multiple surgeries and five plates in his jaw. After the couple reportedly failed to respond to the lawsuit, Weidenmüller was granted a default judgment of just over $350K, money he says he still hasn’t received.
Now, he’s asking the court to satisfy the judgment by forcing the sale of the femcee’s home. And Judge Cindy Pánuco appears ready to approve it, pending confirmation of Minaj’s remaining mortgage balance.
A final ruling is expected at a follow-up hearing on January 22, 2026.
