The Museum confirmed the all-star hosting slate for the May 4, 2026 event, noting that the gala will complement the Costume Institute’s spring exhibit, titled Costume Art, which celebrates the dressed body throughout history. Beyoncé last served as honorary chair in 2013, and her presence this time around adds fresh star wattage to an already elite rotation.
The larger host committee features names like Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, and Zoë Kravitz.
