D4vd is facing mounting legal pressure as the case surrounding the death of Celeste Rivas appears to be heading toward a critical turning point.

Per new reports, the grand jury currently hearing testimony is expected to be asked to issue an indictment, placing the singer at the center of a rapidly escalating investigation.

While early intel suggested the panel was strictly investigative, multiple insiders now say the grand jury reviewing the Rivas case has full authority to vote on criminal charges.

According to TMZ, prosecutors, including Beth Silverman, are reportedly confident the evidence supports the belief that D4vd played a role in Rivas’ death.

Earlier this month, the artist’s day-to-day manager, Robert Morgenroth, testified over several days. During one courthouse exchange overheard by reporters, Morgenroth allegedly said Silverman pressed him aggressively on why police were not contacted sooner. He reportedly responded that his responsibility was keeping the tour on track, not handling law enforcement matters.

Legal observers note that grand juries often align with prosecutors, largely because the subject of the investigation is not permitted to present a defense. However, those familiar with the proceedings caution that a decision may not come quickly, with additional witnesses potentially scheduled to testify as late as February.

As of writing, D4vd has not issued a public statement.
