Mariah Carey continues to traipse uncharted territory on the Billboard charts.
Just a week after learning her perennial hit ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You‘ had become the longest-reigning #1 hit in the 67-year history of the Hot 100, she also found out the tune tied Dua Lipa‘s record for the longest-charting smash by a female.
The latest print of the all-genre chart sees her extend both records thanks to the ongoing domination of ‘Christmas.’
Carey’s ‘Christmas’ is printed at #1 for a historic 21st frame – extending its run as the longest-reigning Hot 100 topper.
Here are the numbers that powered this week’s placement.
- Streams = 43.6 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales = 3000 downloads
- Radio airplay = 28 million audience impressions
Beyond maintaining its grip atop the Hot 100 for yet another print, ‘Christmas’ has now helped Carey cement a whopping 100 career weeks at its summit – the most of any artist ever.
An unprecedented milestone, Mariah amassed the triple-digit stay at the all-genre chart’s peaks thanks to a whopping 19 #1 hits (also the most of any artist) over her 35-year career.
As her beloved fans (affectionately called #Lambs) ring the alarm to celebrate the historic news, look below to see who joins Mimi in the updated top 10 of the Hot 100.

Huuuuuuuuuge congratulations to the One and Only … Mariah Carey.
Hits for days, voice for generations, career like no other.
Well-deserved. No one in today’s music merits dethroning records she broke. Song not my cup of hot cocoa, tho; sounds like an ADD kid having an off-meds moment. Me thinks Miss U Most, or even Hey Santa! (sans Ari & JHud) is her best Christmas song, but musical downers are a no-no in this era. Fair enough, congrats Mimi!
P.S. Taylor’s Ophelia the only non-holiday song in the Top 10. Lol
She’s officially impassable with this type of record behind her belt. What an iconic and historic reward that should solidify her as the best songwriter-performer of all time!
CONGRATS MIMI !!!!
