As reported, the 57-year-old opened up about being diagnosed with cancer for the second time, confirming the return of prostate cancer.
Now, he has updated fans on a hugely positive turn.
Taking to Instagram, the performer wrote:
“Official Medical Update: I am cancer free!!!
I am now a 2x cancer survivor. This is been a 2 year journey that we have lived and simultaneously documented for a film called SUSTAIN.”
In the video, he revealed that the good news was delivered to him on Christmas Day (December 25).
He said:
“Yesterday was Christmas. I got the greatest Christmas gift I could have ever gotten. My doctors called me yesterday morning to let me know that I am undetectable now and cancer-free following a year of having preparation to have a prostate removed.”
