‘Showgirl’ earned 81,000 equivalent album units in the latest tracking frame, per Luminate.
The feat officially makes the project the Pennsylvania native’s second-longest running #1 album, surpassed only by ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ This cemented the set as one of her most dominant – both factually and actually.
As the calendar flips fully into 2026, this ‘Showgirl’ continues to sparkle and shows that its party is still pulsating.

I’m sorry, but this album is boring & slow.. It’s not for me to understand the Taylor Swift hype but I’m happy for her achievements.
Hard to put it into words, but Taylor just might hold the record for the most popular unpopular album of all time, if that makes any sense. The chart dominance and popularity of the material (or lack thereof) just don’t seem to match up.
