Lady Gaga brought her blockbuster ‘Mayhem Ball to Tokyo, but midway through the show, the Pop force shifted the focus entirely.

Pausing her set, the diva delivered a raw and emotional speech condemning ICE and directly referencing the fear gripping communities in America under policies tied to Donald Trump’s administration.

Speaking to the capacity crowd, Gaga said her heart was “aching” as she prepared to return home, pointing to families and children she said were being “mercilessly targeted” as immigration enforcement ramps up once again.

Speaking on the developments back home, Mother Monther said:

“My heart is aching thinking about the people, the children, the families, all over America, who are being mercilessly targeted by ICE. When entire communities lose their sense of safety and belonging, it breaks something in all of us.”

Visibly moved, she added:

“Good people shouldn’t have to fight so hard and risk their lives for well-being and respect. I hope our leaders are listening. I hope you’re listening to us ask you to change your course of action swiftly and have mercy on everyone in our country.”

The GRAMMY winner also referenced fear spreading across states like Minnesota (in the wake of the Alex Pretti saga), calling out leadership decisions linked to Trump-era immigration policies and urging accountability.

She went on to dedicate her next song to anyone feeling “alone and helpless,” saying she wanted to leave the crowd with a sense of hope, even in a dark moment.
