The Rap icon declared her unwavering support for the Commander-in-Chief, brushing off criticism and framing backlash as fuel rather than deterrent.
“I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change, And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all,” she relayed. “It actually motivates me to support him more.”
Among the “hate” she is referencing is an ongoing set of petitions signed by over 150,000 to see her get deported as she once admitted that she came to the United States illegally from her native Trinidad.
Tuesday’s moment was peak spectacle with hand-holding onstage, a cheek kiss, and Trump openly admiring Minaj’s glittering gold nails as the cameras rolled.
“I am going to let my nails grow, because I love those nails. She’s so good. She’s been MAGA, what can I say? She’s been with us all the way,” he joked.
The appearance coincided with Minaj pledging significant funds toward newly launched child investment accounts tied to Trump-backed initiatives.
While Nicki has historically avoided formal endorsements during Trump’s campaigns, this marked her most explicit political alignment yet – just weeks after her shock appearance at AmericaFest saw her declare she has the “utmost respect and admiration” for the businessman-turned-reality star-turned politician.
