As the clock ticks toward the April 24 release of her new album ‘Toy with Me,’ expect to hear much from Meghan Trainor in the coming weeks in preparation for the project’s release as well as the launch of its supportive summer ‘Get In Girl Tour.’
Having already thrilled her global fans (affectionately called #MegaTronz) with the LP’s lead single ‘Still Don’t Care,’ Valentine’s Day weekend saw the GRAMMY winner lift the song ‘Get In Girl‘ as the official ‘Care’ follow-up.
“This song is for everyone who finally realized they deserve more. Sometimes you just need a song that reminds you that love shouldn’t feel exhausting, and that leaving is okay and might be the most powerful thing you can do,” Trainor relayed about the Mark Schick-produced tune.
A story of women supporting women, Trainor’s ‘Girl’ comes as the getting-over-heartbreak anthem many of us needed just in time for the lover’s holiday.
