UK Rap titan Dave has just surprised fans with a striking new music video for the title track from his acclaimed #1-charting album ‘The Boy Who Played the Harp.’
Full story below…
Directed by Edem Wornoo, the visual places the MC in a series of powerful, historically tinged scenes, matching the lyrics he raps like:
“What would I do with the next generation?/ Would I fight for justice? Is it the reason my mum named me David?/ How can you be king?”
‘The Boy Who Played the Harp,’ which nods to both biblical imagery and Dave’s own lyrical depth, follows the runaway hit single ‘Raindance’ with Tems, a track that soared to No.1 on the UK Singles Chart and inspired its own Lagos-set visual earlier this year.
