Jill Scott Scores Top 10 on Billboard ahead of 'To Whom This May Concern' tour

R&B legend Jill Scott is celebrating another milestone moment.

Her latest project, To Whom This May Concern,’ has already proven to be a major success on the album charts following its February 13 release, but now its lead single ‘Pressha‘ is applying the same pressure to Billboard single tallies.

Just days after releasing its official music video, Jill’s ‘Pressha’ – the only cut from ‘Concern’ to receive the visual treatment so far – moseyed to #1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

The ascension marks the first time Scott’s been printed in this hitlist’s pole position since 2012’s ‘Blessed.’

For context, the Adult R&B Airplay chart – also known as the Adult R&B Songs chart – measures the airplay of songs spun on radio stations that mostly play songs of the contemporary R&B, traditional R&B, and Urban Adult contemporary genres.

As if that’s not enough good news to celebrate, the Soul songstress is gearing up to take ‘Pressha’ and the rest of music from ‘Concern’ on the forthcoming To Whom This May Concern World Tour.’

General tickets are set to go on sale starting March 11 via MissJillScott.com.
