It’s been over four months since Jessie J first introduced the critically acclaimed ‘Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time‘ – her first studio album in over a decade – but the GRAMMY-nominated diva is still traipsing the promo trail in its support.

After gifting the single treatment to fan-favorite housed cuts ‘No Secrets,’ ‘Living My Best Life,’ ‘Believe in Magic,’ ‘H.A.P.P.Y.,’ and ‘I’ll Never Know Why,’ this week she gave new life to the touching tune ‘Comes in Waves’ by unveiling its official music video.

“It comes in waves, like I’m drownin’ in a love I crave that you gave to me / And I hate how much I miss the future that we never made / I’m holdin’ on to hope with me everywhere I go,” she sings over Jesse Boykins III production.

J waxes candid about the song which she says was written about the “layers of grief” and sadness after “having a miscarriage in 2021.”
