As per People, reports confirm a worker tragically lost his life after being crushed in an equipment-related incident while helping build the setup for the highly anticipated Copacabana Beach show.

Emergency services revealed the man suffered severe injuries after becoming trapped beneath a collapsing structure, with colleagues pulling him free before responders arrived.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries just days before the May 2 performance tied to the ‘Todo Mundo no Rio’ event.
