Published: Tuesday 9th Jun 2026 by Rashad

Latto landed her third consecutive Billboard 200 top 20 hit this week with the critically acclaimed ‘Big Mama‘ album.

What’s more, the opening marks the biggest of her career to date.

Details inside.

Latto’s ‘Big Mama’

First-Week Sales (SPS):  33,000 units

First-Week Sales (Pure): 2,100 units

Billboard 200 Debut:  #16

Christened by the 27-year-old rapstress as her retirement album, ‘Big Mama’ – the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea’ – opened at #16 on the updated Billboard 200 thanks to sales slightly south of 33,000 units.

Released May 29, ‘Mama’ is home to singles ‘Somebody‘ and ‘GOMF‘ and boasts a who’s who of features including 21 Savage, GloRilla, Doja Cat, Sexyy Red, Wizkid, Teyana Taylor, and more.

Despite a soft promotional rollout, the project still managed a handsome top 20 opening and comes as her third consecutive placement in the chart region following the #15 bows of her ‘Sugar’ and ‘777‘ albums respectively.

What’s more, the sum attached to ‘Mama’ birthed the biggest first-week sales she’s enjoyed yet as its predecessors – ‘Queen of Da Souf,‘ ‘Sugar,’ and ‘777’ – sold 14,000, 29,000, and 24,000 units respectively their inaugural weeks.
