Beyoncé Takes Full Ownership of SirDavis, Acquires Moët Hennessy’s Stake in Award-Winning Whisky Brand

Beyoncé is pouring into a new chapter with SirDavis.

The superstar has acquired Moët Hennessy’s stake in the award-winning whisky brand, giving her full ownership and control of the business she launched with the luxury spirits giant.

More details below…

The move arrives almost two years after SirDavis officially hit the market as Moët Hennessy’s first spirits brand developed entirely in the United States.

Announcing the change, SirDavis said its collaboration with the LVMH-owned company had reached its conclusion following almost four years spent creating, developing and launching the label.

“Knowles-Carter takes full ownership and control, making SirDavis a woman, family and Black-owned company.”

Financial details surrounding the acquisition have not been disclosed, per The Spirits Business.

Named in honor of the Houston native’s great-grandfather Davis Hogue, a farmer and moonshiner during Prohibition, the brand earned accolades in earnest, including almost top scores at the 2025 New York International Spirits Competition and being crowned Best New Product at the 2025 Spirits Business Awards.

The brand has also generated strong consumer interest. Its Honey Bee Cocktail Kit reportedly sold out within hours, while high-profile activations have included a star-studded California Crown takeover attended by Jay-Z, Cher, Shaboozey and more.

With SirDavis now independent, Queen Bey adds another fully controlled company to a business portfolio that also includes her flourishing Cécred haircare venture.

Moet sold their shares in the business. She just didn’t acquire them. Lazy reporting

Let’s keep it real…..No one is drinking this BS. I live in NYC and every liquor store I go to from Harlem to Brooklyn have said they stopped selling this due to no one being interested to buy it. Beyonce isn’t a brand outside of DC. Her music doesn’t even sell high in numbers like the industry makes us try to believe.

She achieved 100% ownership. I applaud that she seems to operate under the “invest in me and then I own it” philosophy. Good for her. Like Madonna, more business woman than anything else and good at it.

More business woman than anything else?

That would be fitting for Rihanna not Beyonce.

In the Knowles family, Solange is the true creative and Beyonce is the premiere SALESWOMAN. Nothing wrong with either position. I enjoy them both every now and then…

Is I going to sell more because she fully owns it,,,,,,?
