Jhene Aiko brings to life ‘Break,’ a fan favorite from her latest chart-topping album ‘Westside Whimsy,’ with a trippy, self-directed music video released Friday (October 23).

Reflecting on the pain of the dissolution of a romantic relationship, ‘Break’ sees Aiko talk and walk through the difficulty of trying to break free from those lingering feelings in the aftermath.

“Come to me in my dreams / You’re haunting me with your sweet lies / Confronting all my worries and fears / Waking up, you’re still not here (Uh, uh, uh) / I can’t escape the heartbreak, break, break,” she sings on the melancholic track.

The latest track from the ‘Whimsy’ era to get the official video treatment following ‘Ghost,’ ‘Wild Cat(s),’ and ‘Nothing Nice to Say,’ hop inside to get acquainted with the latest from Jhene.
