Well that didn’t take long.
It’s been all of five minutes since Glee’s Naya Rivera and rapper Big Sean stepped out as a couple, and the pair already have a new single together. Christened ‘Sorry’, the track was premiered on LA’s Power 106 moments ago.
Typically, we’d be all sorts of cynical, however we have it on reliable word that their relationship is very much real.
As the age-old adage goes, mixing business and pleasure rarely ends well. Can Rivera and Sean re-write the rules on this, her first single? The answer awaits after the jump…
Sigh.
Given the length and breadth of Rivera’s vocal talent, this is super soggy. Lyrically, the song is an entire LOL, while the production sounds (at least) ten years old.
Her voice may be golden, yet Naya’s first effort is cheap aluminum foil. Needless to say, she should scrunch it up and throw it in the trash. She can (and should) be releasing much better.
i guess i’m not the only one anticipating a flop case here !!!
Why you running flop?
I don’t know her.
But the show she was on grossed more money in one episode than your Fav’s entire SEASON. Have several couches.
But unlike Zooey, Naya didn’t end up on Forbes. Take several.
Lmao what IS THIS MESS?… Lawdy the girls all think there SANGERS ON GLEE ..
umm, bc it’s a show where the girls all sing.
FLOOOOP
The next beyonce in the making!
who is she?
I like it… nice 90’s vibe
Well…..at least she’s pretty!
How Her ugly long nose is way too thin her head shoe is wierd and her cheeks are fat.
Now throw your mug shot up so we can critique your nappy headed self
Nappy headed? Lool I’m not a n I g g e r
You must be a ginger, freckle faced pale b*tch. Either way, you seem like an ugly b*tch…
Lol relax a** I’m white of course I’m pretty go back to Africa ugly n I g g e r
You are weak! You use this word like it will offend, but from behind a computer it has no impact.
Also, your geography is lame! In 2013 black people come from everywhere the same as white people do, even Africa. You do know there are white people in Africa now dont you? An education is better than ignorance. get your education
@ByNoMeans Please jump in front of the first semi you see and give your family and the rest of the world a new holiday to celebrate…
i hope she got flop insurance cuz its coming
i dont remember tha last time i watched glee,i keep seeing cory monteith everywhere like he is haunting me.i hope it succeds,to bring some light to my cold dead life
TGJ full of s*** sound better than ciara and Kelly
It’s not that it’s a bad song but I can’t really see it making ripples let alone waves… And yeah, it sounds dated.
I don’t think TGJ is understanding the type of artist, Naya is (or is trying to be). Think about the video and imaging. Think of JLo. Think of Glee and the audience she’s trying to keep as well as the audience se wants to gain. This is strategic, baby! Think of American radio. We’re talking hit here.
This ain’t even a hit in Neverland, Narnia, Oz or anywhere else. Maybe in your living room, though.
Sorry is right.
I GUESS I’M THE ONLY ONE THAT IS FEELING THIS SONG DUE TO THE 90’S VIBE I’M HEARING >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>*DANCES TO TEH TUNE*
Yah…….you’re alone on that one..
I liked it…she has a nice voice..her boyfriend voice annoys me though…
so good luck to her
Sounds like Tatyana Ali’s “Daydreamin” song.
I don’t think its that bad. Sounds like something Nas would’ve been on in the early ’00s. Retro Jam. Now Sean on it looks like shes just trying to get a cheap hit 😆 I still want him to “murder my v*****,” though – Amanda.
Hummm sean you kept you For some spins….Need those checks to keep coming for glee i see..
Oh and hot mess…
I think the song is alright. Big Sean did ok with the song.
I dont like it because it sounds dated instead of reminiscent which its meant to sound…. maybe?
This is not good for a first single choice, maybe single two will be better. She’s an okay singer but i’m not sure how she got a deal and single before Amber Riley?
I actually like it, bring back that 90’s sound i say and the f***** 80’s cos its much better that the horse s*** we here now! it’s got a JLO vibe to it, the lyrics are fun, like with Eminem and Pink the first single should never be to serious more fun and cheeky to get the audience, this is a good look, i like it, and “i’m not sorry”
I think it’s a good sone, everything isn’t going to be some over-produced pop song, anytime the says something isn’t good I have to listen to it for myself, I mean y’all Stan for Rita Ora…this song had more life than Rita’s whole album
my good friend jaden michaels wrote this song. its not one of her best but its not horrible.
i met naya and shes a sweetheart but there is something not quite closing the deal. it didnt feel like i was in the room with a future superstar.
