Correction: Aaliyah wasn’t the youngest performer on Oscars, there was i.e. Michael Jackson at age 15 and others. However, she was (and still is) the youngest African-American female to perform there.
This performance only shows a part of what Aaliyah was capable, it’s such a shame she was taken so soon. Can’t even imagine how great she would sound as 30 years woman.
