For many, Jazmine Sullivan stands as one of R&B’s most gifted talents. And if there existed any doubt, it was dispelled last night when the soul-filled songbird took vocal flight at an NBA game in her hometown of Philadelphia.
Sullivan did away with the production theatrics other acts tend to rely on and instead served up an acoustic version of the US National Anthem, the ‘Star Spangled Banner’.

Monica is a veteran sweetheart. There’s no need to take notes. Anywho, Jazmine soared as usual. But did anyone notice how the camera never focused on Jazmine or barely showed her close up. I really think the media shades this woman because of her weight. If I didn’t know her signature voice you wouldn’t be able to notice it was Jaz. She barely got any camera time. Shady.
