Buzz has encased her comeback effort ‘Unbreakable’ and it’s becoming increasingly apparent that the masses are willing to spend on the returning diva.

Within 24 hours of going up for pre-order, the songbird’s eleventh LP leaped into the top 10 of the iTunes US tally.
As at writing, the set sits at #9 of the digital retailer, having reached as high as #5 previously.
It marks a strong start for the project, which reunites Jackson with longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Debut numbers are expected to be healthy for the album upon its October 2nd arrival. For, beyond its current standing on the Apple platform, the star smartly offered pre-sale tour ticket access to fans who pre-ordered ‘Unbreakable.’ Similarly, unique VIP experiences are available to tour attendees. Again, a wholly smart move giving the 49-year-old’s clear touring focus.

In other news, without the hype of a massive hit single, blog “acclaim” and hype, and radio payola (unlike a certain artist who apparently “ended” Lana/Marina’s careers in 2013), Halsey’s debut album BADLANDS debuts at #2 with 97K! Really hoping it doesn’t drop a lot next week. I could see this album being the BTD of 2015/2016.
Death at What went down selling 6K but it’s Not a bad album overall.
Expected. Holy Fire also sold 6K first week in the U.S.
I’m more disappointed at it debuting at #3 in the UK though???? did it at least sell over 30K there? That would’ve been enough for #1 literally almost every other week this year.

Janet isn’t exactly slaying. No Sleep was very local and her tour is only in small theater venues (5000 people per show). But I’m happy that she’s doing what she loves despite the commercial underperformance that she is having.
What the hell are you talking about? Janet just did two packed end stage shows at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary and the Rexall Place in Edmonton. Those are ARENAS. As large as those shows were, they still will not compare to the huge show she is gonna do at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. You must be very stupid if you think somebody like Janet Jackson has to resort to theatres on any tour she decides to pursue. A woman who has packed arenas and stadiums all over the globe throughout her career. Please shut up and stop embarrassing yourself.
OK so she’s playing some arenas but mostly smaller venues.
Her 2011 Number Ones tour she played small theatres and even parking lots (and still couldn’t sell out) and her Rock Withchu tour was cancelled due to poor ticket sales

Has it ever occurred that she did smaller shows then because she chose to and not because she has to? Let’s try to stay in the present. She is not playing mostly smaller venues. You’re blatantly lying. She is playing arenas with a few smaller venues mixed in. Even when she is playing smaller venues, she sold them out so fast that she had to double or triple up. I can think of about 7 arenas off the top of my head that she has already sold out in the US and she is still in Canada. A little info for your tiny brain….[LA arena sold out 15,000+], [Houston arena sold out], [Dallas arena resale only], [DC arena sold out], [San Francisco (2 shows sold out) 14,000], [Las Vegas ( 2 shows sold out) 14,000], [Chicago (3 shows sold out) 11,500], [Honolulu (3 shows sold out) 24,000+]…anymore questions? Not to mention the ones that will definitely sell out soon and especially in New England. Stop fabricating lies to fit what you want to happen.
