As previously reported, singer/songwriter Chris Brown was ripped by an event promoter at this year’s “gay pride” weekend in Atlanta after reportedly failing to appear at a gig due to the presence of gay men in the audience. Brown later offered an apology for the confusion and clapped back to inform fans he was never officially booked for the appearance. Well…that hasn’t stopped the promoter from trying to recup funds for her loss.
While reports swarmed the net as recently as this morning indicating the promoter – Melissa Scott – is looking to get at least $12,50o from Chris and camp or else she’ll sue, the R&B bad boy is still vehemently denying any involvement with her.

Why would he want to play a gay pride parade anyway? I would have declined that invite. Whoever in his team that booked him for that should be reprimanded.
Poor Chris, the majority of the sh!t he puts him self in but either way he catches hell. He needs a good long YEAR off to focus on him and his daughter, stay out of the media and really just chill and live. After his year is up, come back stronger than ever.
He only claiming his daughter now because the general public caught wind of it. Him naming his next album after her is clearly a marketing strategy to make people think he’s a great dad to sell records. He’s not fooling me with that trickery.
If Chris’s career is in such dire straits that he’s gotta consider playing at gay pride events then it’s time to retire.
