Much to the dismay of competition, despite consistently selling over 650,000 copies every week since its release, the songstress’s ’25’ shows no signs of slowing.
Already etched in history books as the only album to sell over 1 million copies in two separate sales weeks, the ‘Hello’ singer has been greeted with refreshed reports the tune’s parent album is set to sell another million by the end of tallying this week.

As of time reporting, ’25’ is expected to shift at least 980,000 units (including streaming units) by the end of the sales week (which started on December 18th). Many industry analysts are indicating the album’s performance as of Monday night suggests it will most likely touch the 1.1 million sold mark.
If met or exceeded, the sales boost will not only solidify her ranking as the year’s top seller, but will also push her past 7 million sold…in just 5 weeks.
At the rate she is going, the album will be diamond before January 31st!

It’ll be interesting to see what Adele’s career shapes up to be like. If she delivers at least 5 million after her 10th year, she’ll officially separate herself from the Alanis Morissette’s, Norah’s and MAYBE even Shania’s (down the line) with her only her sales. Sales don’t make a legend in my book though, but Adele will slay the history books by accomplishing that feat.
