After her last album ‘Point of No Return’ lived up to its title on the Billboard 200, ‘Heaven Sent’ songbird Keyshia Cole is undoubtedly looking to regain R&B prominence with her 7th official release.
With buzz around the project already brewing after rumors swirled the singer was signing to Columbia Records, Cole took to Instagram to turn the heat up on said buzz by announcing its official first single.

Dispelling rumors of signing to reported nemesis Beyonce’s label home, Keyshia – as announced on Instagram – will take the independent route for her next project.
Kicked off by ‘Best Friend,’ the Amadeus-produced cut will lead the singer into her 7th studio LP after 2014’s critically and commercially panned ‘Point of No Return.’
As of time reporting, no official release date has been set for the single or its parent album.

YEEESSS they were 2 of my faves from her last album. That album was all over the place but i grew to like it, especially a few of the better songs. omg boo HAVE YOU HEARD K MICHELLE’S ALBUM?!??!
People can drag and shade Keyshia to death and back to life, but that album WAS NOT BAD! “Do That For (B.A.B.)”, “Next Time (I Won’t Give My Heart Away)”, “Party Ain’t a Party”, and “Believer” we’re all jams! K. Michelle’s first and second albums were great too, but after hearing that “Mindful” mess I swore off her third album. “V.S.O.P.”, “Maybe I Should Call”, “Love ‘me All”, and “Hard to Do” (this one is my absolute fave) were great offerings. I don’t know. I just like when R&B women aren’t afraid to get s*** and sing about s**. Jhene Aiko does a job of that in “Wading” and “Living Room Flow”. ?

The majority of those videos totally killed what was a decent R&B album.
