As music fans continue to drink up Beyonce‘s long-awaited ‘Lemonade,’ growing worry seemed to sweep across some listeners as they learned the project, her sixth official release (available now), was available via Tidal stream only.
Well, fret not. Fans of Spotify, Pandora, and other streaming services will soon be served a taste…
Lemonade the Visual Album hit TIDAL as an exclusive in its last few minutes of TV time. It includes 12 tracks (presented below) plus the “Lemonade” video, and it has a run-time of 1h 51m.
At press time, word is that TIDAL will have a short streaming exclusive of 48 hours. Whether or not there will be a physical component is still unknown.

I love the acclaim and praise coming from all sides of life for this ART. Self-titled still beats it though. If she didn’t put this on Tidal it would’ve outsold Antichrist in less than a week for sure.
Before I give any critique, I must say that I love the idea of a conceptual visual album. It was an ambitious effort that truly pushed the boundaries of artistry and musical release in the 21st century. Furthermore, I love that it was a black superstar to do it first and not some blue-eyed monster. Plus, I loved the message in reaching out to black women which included black hollywood such as Amandla Sanberg, Zendaya, Q. Wallis, Winnie Harper and my girl Serena. I just loved seeing so much melanin.
Beyoncé you have done it again . I’ve listened to it 3 times back to back , and I’m loving every second of it . Bravo mother ????????????????????????????????????

Now, I gotta keep it one hunnid…I had to force myself to continue watching. The sh*t was just straight up boring! Although I loved the cinematography, and the direction was superb, the movie was a waste of an hour of my life that I will never get back. Moreover, the primary concern for me is the music which I absolutely detested, and after watching it there are only two songs that I remember. Now, that joint with the Weeknd was fire; plus, I loved her little country about Poppa told me to shoot those boys. However, the rest of the songs reflected how I feel about the movie in general which is commendable for the ambitious effort, but a bit of a try-hard and utterly melodramatic.

Ive heard it 3 going on 4 times in whole since 10p, it seems kinda short but still good and flavorful. I think most of the visuals dont do the songs justice at all smh. Still lacks that vocal performance that Ive been longing for since “Be With You” but still a good album. Freedom, Daddy Lessons, Don’t Hurt Yourself, and Love Drought are my favorites right now. While its very similar and sounds like an extension of her last album close up, its SOOOOO different and progressive from all of her other music. BEYONCE has created a lane for her music because its too powerful to fit next to the other genres and the music that other artists are putting out. Go Beyonce once again

Where do we start with Lemonade’s iconic visuals? Her drowning in an ornate ballroom, as bubbles escape from her nose. Her striding through city streets in a lemon-yellow couture gown, swinging a baseball bat into car windows. A circle of fire surrounding her, as she stands in a flowing red gown. The mothers of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, sitting with portraits of their sons.
The special was also, at its core, a celebration of black women’s beauty and strength, featuring sequence after sequence of Bey surrounded by cadres of stunning women — on a porch with Zendaya and Amandla Sternberg, leading a line of white-clad sirens through the ocean, on a streetcar throne accompanied by facepainted dancers.
One of the most striking movements was its the poignant last video, a beautiful collage of the people Beyoncé loves most — from her mother Tina’s wedding edited together with her own to clips of Jay and Blue playing with a football on the Superdome’s turf.

She has shattered barriers as a performer and has influenced many. Beyonce continues to deviate from the the social and political norms of the music industry. She is truly at the top of her class. I don’t see any artist of this era that matches her level of success or ability to captivate the stage. She will be included among Madonna, Mariah Carey, and other greats. She is truly an example of how every artist should push boundaries and work hard to achieve a spot on the mantle of many great artists.
