While i wasnt too impressed with the songs or vocals as a whole I was VERY impressed by 2 moments in the movie especially. That being a part in the first half where bey is walking toward the camera and all you can hear is the most EPIC MELODIC music/vocals piercing through yur ears, another part is the video with jay in it wear she cries and sings something about taring someones face off a picture. Both parts gave me life. The homage to black heirtage and social injustice really was powerfull. As a album it wuld easily be her weakest but obviously thats not what Bey was going for in B6. Bey is BEYOND tradition at this point. Bey is FEARLESS. This is far surpass ANYTHING I saw or heard from R8. Even if this was released as a physical audio/album (& with no promo or single) it wuld still sell more than 300k lol

Based on the songs featured in the film, the album is SURE to get an aggregate Metacritic score of 90+. Watch her go up against “Anti” and “Unbreakable” for “Album of the Year” at the Grammy’s.
Musically i would say this is in one way a more watered down version of Self Titled & in another way the more hyper version. Its obviously very raw and almost NOT EVEN REAL MUSIC which is in itself a risk. It def picks up right where Self Titled left off. Bey always takes something from the previous era and expand/evolve from it with its follow up. For instance DIL had Crazy and Bday kinda went that route. DC3 1st album had nonono then their followup was leaning toward that way. Atleast its better than that MIXTAPE ANTI which has 16 tracks yet only 48 mins long & life of pablo with only 2 good songs. My first impression of the music (while the movie is EPIC) its not that great but still better than (insert fav) last album. 25 is better but not by much.

First … I don’t understand why people keep acting as if the Hive should be eating crow because of Beyonce’s music being available on Tidal. Wasn’t she apart of the Tidal launch? If Rihanna’s album was released on Tidal and Beyonce’s weren’t, people would swear it’s sabotage! The Hive don’t get excited about no damn streaming either! We’ve always expected high sales from Bey! There’s nothing to call the Hive out on concerning any of this! It’s not a double standard … Bey’s simply doing what she was supposed to do! Rih and Kanye did it, now it was her turn obviously! Also, Bey’s not having a company buy her albums so there’s nothing going on that’s similar to Anti’s roll-out (other than what they’ve planned to do for Tidal).
Second … This new album sounds nothing like Anti! Nothing at all, it’s a reach! Anti is closer to Bey’s self-titled album artistically (and that’s only in spots).
Third … People keep talking about Bey using gimmicks to sell. No one forced anyone to purchase self-titled for $16+. A gimmick is when your music only cost .99 or … let me not even start anything.
Anyway, Bey’s just setting up this era like anyone else would that use lead with a strategy (radio single/video, performance at an award show or additional deluxe/alternative versions of albums). Haters seem to want Beyonce to drop an album and promote it with one single tweet! When your that afraid of people winning, it’s called being pressed! People aren’t forced to BUY albums the way we’re forced to pay taxes (no matter what’s the incentive) .
