R&B Icon Maxwell and ‘Power’ actor Omari Hardwick are to cover July’s Day & Night issue of Essence.
Sharing his thoughts on the loss of music legend Prince, the trials of relationships and his two decade bond with fans, Maxwell’s sophisticated cover comes before the release of his fifth studio album ‘black SUMMERS’ night’ – which is set for a July 1st release. He’ll also be headlining the 2016 Essence Music Festival two days later.
Looking dashing a-front of the Day spread, Hardwick details his thoughts on his new found success, fatherhood and his lack of judgement towards his character Ghost’s ruthless streak on his hit Starz drama.
Be sure to pick up Essence’s ‘Day & Night’ July issue featuring the sophisticated pair, which is on newsstands now.
So much s*** ??
I ve tried getting into Power but I’m just not a series kinda person so it’s been a bit hard. From the few episodes I’ve seen, Omari sure knows how to pull of a suit ?. As for Maxwell, it’s crazy that The Urban Hang Suite came out TWO DECADES ago but he’s only on his 5th album. I’d much rather he takes his time than rush out mediocre projects. His voice is a lil’ different these days but he’s timeless.
Maxwell better serve like the queen(?) he is
They both looks nice
