Long-awaited, the set was finally confirmed today with the stunning cover above.

Describing the LP as “‘my most raw and honest creation yet,” the 15-time Grammy winner revealed that it’ll hit stores on November 4th.
Lead single ‘Blended Family (What You Do For Love)’ landed in tandem with the announcement.
The soulful cut features a guest verse from Keys’ RCA label-mate A$AP Rocky.

I really wish In Common was more successful. It is such a bop and she promoted it pretty well too. I commend Alicia for her more natural approach to her image and styling. She’s received a bit of push-back for it but it’s great that she’s comfortable in her own skin. I think this album will be good and even though it might not be a blockbuster.
Alicia is stuck in 2012. Setting a release date is a thing of the past. No one is running out to Best Buy to buy CDs anymore. She should has released the album digitally with the announcement. #AskBeyonce #AskSolange #AskFrank
I agree. She has the fan based and in my opinion still has the album selling ability to do a surprise release. The only way an announced release date will work is if you have a BIG 1st final to anticipate the album release. For acts like Beyoncé and Alicia Keys who singles no longer chart high, its best just to release the album with no final announcement.
And yet none of those artist have outsold ALicia’s discography yet, so have a seat, Alicia doesn’t need your “advice”.
Once again, it’s a different time and season. We’ll see when the first week sales come around. She will have the lowest debut of her career.

I don’t agree with that. Releasing an album digitally is one way to go about selling music but you cannot deny the sales that come from physical CDs. Also Alicia could still release her album digitally a week before the physical copy gets to stores.

I’ll buy it just for the cover alone, it’s everything. Alicia is what you call a true artist; she’s all about the music, not the gimmicks or fake relationship drama to sell records.
The cover is amazing. Very happy for the kids that she and Mashonda get along now. Mashonda even promoted it on her Instagram. I guess she’s over it. Ugly hotep b****** on certain websites will remain bitter though!

The cover is amazing imo. Best cover among these new releases along with Lady Gaga´s. Bruno is becoming more and more tacky looks wise. Mary J is tacky too. All of them are super talented so it doesn´t matter.
