Opening night of JAY-Z‘s three-night run at Yankee Stadium was a homerun to say the least.
As reported, the mini-residency – already one of the year’s most highly anticipated events on the live circuit – saw the Hip-Hop legend use night 1 (July 10) to homage the 30th anniversary of his classic debut album ‘Reasonable Doubt.’
Tapping an all-star list of guests, wife Beyonce (who helped him deliver a stunning live performance of the LP’s Mary J. Blige-assisted hit ‘Can’t Knock the Hustle‘), daughter Blue Ivy, Alicia Keys (who performed ‘Empire State of Mind‘), fellow Rap icon Nas, Memphis Bleek, JAZ-O, and more helped make the concert an unforgettable evening for the Bronx.
