Little Mix sent their millions of Mixers into a frenzy over the weekend when they announced their new single ‘Shout Out To My Ex.’

Perhaps in a bid to pique interest, little has been divulged about the track beyond the fact that it’ll debut synchronously with their performance on The X Factor UK this Sunday.

Still, a tiny teaser won’t spoil the fun.

And that’s exactly what Jade, Jesy, Perrie, and Leigh-Anne have served up.

Want to know what the lead release from the quad’s fourth album is set to sound like? Listen to an official preview after the jump…

Sounds Pop and anthemic. We’ll reserve our full judgement until hearing the song in its entirety.

For now, though…

eugh. I didn’t think they’d go even Poppier. still here for it cause I’m a fan but I’m lowkey disappointed.

Exactly I was hoping for a more urban based album liked Salute but I guess they may be going for that pop/stadium sound….but I’m hoping for more bops like Boy, Salute, About the boy ugh

It sounds like a dance song mixed with a little pop sound.
I don’t why the producers are giving Little Mix to many
bad song choices. They are actually a very good group.

This sounds like so much of what’s already out there. These girls have some talent that ought to be put on display—this doesn’t do it.

They are a good group. But their songs are trash. Do they have american producers?!?! If not they need to

No thanks, I was hoping they’d go a more urban route based on the lyrics.

I want Little Mix to go more urban too, but I don’t think they’ll ever penetrate the R&B market in that way, at least until their 90’s sensibilities are back in fashion again. Their label would have to actually put in effort in getting better guest features than Jason Derulo, too.

Jason Derulo is like a poor man’s Sean Kingston and a poor man’s Eric Bellinger mixed together.

Title reminds me of Mya’s Case of the Ex

They tried going the rnb route. If u actually listen to their albums they are heavy influenced by destinys child . Their main problem is their fan base are little white girls so they need to keep it pop, they’re music is English pop not American pop music. They can’t sing a song like work from home as they’re image isn’t s*** it’s young good girl image

So this is the song that’s supposed to finally break them internationally? The only station that will be spinning it here is Radio Disney.
