I wish her well, but I can’t get anything out of that clip – as far as it seeming like a good song or not. It was too short. I will say that I wish it didn’t feature other people. This music climate has become way too dependent on collaborations and guest rappers. Would rather it just be her alone. And the curse words weren’t necessary either.
But I’ll wait before I say anything else about it.
Naw I’m all seriousness she REALLY has to bring it this time. I loved her first album and random songs after that but I really lost real interest in her after listening to her second album and realizing she did the exact same runs from the first album over and over and over continued to do them for each album. No vocal growth. She does have some cuts tho I won’t deny that! Vocally boring though

I hope she doesn’t turn into another Ciara, putting out 50 “comeback” albums that sell less than the one before. Keyshia and the rest of the once-hot-now-struggling acts need to learn that it’s their TEAM that needs to properly assembled and competent. Too many of them think that if they record what they think is a really “good” album, then they will or should have success. They and their TEAM need to set certain goals and be strategic in moving forward to accomplish them. If she’s got lousy people behind her, then this will be another flop, no matter how good or bad the actually music is.
Another Ciara? The issue is the cureent state of records (music). There’s a LACK of substance and QUALITY nowadays. Of course it’s about the marketing and promotion BUT the general public (some) don’t go out their way for Keyshia Cole but ONLY her core audience (fans). My issue is there’s lack of substance and QUALITY in today’s records. Ciara is nother artist people try to discredit what she’s done in her career. These artist such as Ciara, Usher, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, and other artist a few people try to be over critical which is unnecessary. The issue is today’s market want microwavable lackluster TYPICAL records. Keyshia Cole’s catalogue is rare in my perspective. I’m a supporter of hers and I will acknowledge that FACT her longevity and substance is needed. She KNOWS her core audience and I will check out the single. I mean to be honest it’s also these major record labels (some) that don’t know how to properly market these artists. Of course these artists sales are not where they’re expected to be due to the LACK of support and finanical stability. People want to always make crude remarks about these artists “flopping” but don’t go purchase their material. I’m ready for Keyshia Cole to slay me anyway because she’s capable of making innovative records. I just want the exceution in the promotion for her new material to be on point and I KNOW she will deliver that fire. This single needs a concept visual and people should let these artists do what’s best for them. Regardless she has supporters such as myself to get her stuff.

I’m so so so so so f****** tired of the auto-tuned sound. It makes every artist sound the same. It totally strips Keyshia’s vocals of any grit, soul, personality, etc. That’s all…just a comment

1. If she was serious about a major comeback Epic Records probably is the wrong tree to bark up. Out of all the singers signed the only artist that get attention and are considered a priority are the rappers because that’s what’s in now.
2. It probably would’ve made more sense to go with a radio friendly-commercial song. You can’t go on to many TV shows saying “I’m done f****** with you” and radios going to bleep it out. And isn’t there anything else she can talk about, we’ve heard this before.
3. Releasing now is a set up by LA Reid himself. There’s going to be so many fails album cycles before 3rd quart 2017 it’s ridiculous. Keyshia about to have the 2 single/ 2 video treatment because you have Tamar set for March, then Mariah, Then Jennifer has new music coming, Fifth Harmony is slated to release before this summer AND Camilla is slated for this spring and it’s already been said she’s their main priority for this year. Mariah’s going to need a big promo push after the new year’s s***. Tamara going to need a big promo push because they didn’t promote her last album right and she got sick and through the album away, plus she going on tour. Of course fifth harmony will need a big push because they’re in everybody mouth and Camilla is getting the side eye and a lot to prove now. EPIS IS NOT PAYING FOR ALL THIS.

Keyshia used to be one of my favorites.. She has to go harder because she has k michelle. Not trying to put women against each other but k is simply a talented keyshia with actual talent. So keyshia has to come harder.
