Last week we spotlighted the success of Monica‘s 90s jam ‘The First Night’ on Spotify.
This week, the general public’s undying interest in her discography has seen reach astronomical new heights in the same arena with her smash hit single ‘So Gone.’
As of this morning, the song has been streamed 17 million times and soars north of the 50 million plays point when its numbers from Spotify’s competitors are thrown into the singer’s sultry mix.

Its official video has been spun 8.5 million times on VEVO and is expected to hit the 9 million milestone before the year’s end.
Should it achieve this feat it will do so fourteen years after the song peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 much to the delight of its creators Zyah Ahmonuel, Kenneth Cunningham, Jamahl Rye and Missy Elliott.
