This week’s From The Vault was unanimously agreed to be a necessity.
Mariah Carey’s roof raising rendition of ‘Joy To The World’ is our festive selection.
A popular Christmas carol, ‘Joy’ was included in Mariah’s seasonal album ‘Merry Christmas.’ Her take on the track was self-arranged alongside former partner in rhyme Walter Afanasieff and stands as one of the LP’s standout jams.
Mimi’s unparalleled ability to raise the roof makes it a true tour de force, and with her Christmas shine intensifying through time, it should continue to spread the festive spirit in every home for more decades to come.
We joyfully salute Mariah, especially during this season. Her latest releases may have left the masses unmoved, but we’re glad that at least once a year (at the very least), people are reminded of her other-worldly talent.
Salute to the Queen of Christmas and wishing all of you an amazing holiday.
She needs to release that entire concert. I really wanna hear Miss You Most At Christmas Time
I’ve never understood why she gives Miss You Most at Xmas time no love. The song is breathtakingly beautiful and heartfelt. She ignores it and even though its a fan fave of everyones………She truly is iconic but still has NO idea what her fans want to hear. She does the same show for the last 10 years and throws in a “thanks for nothing” or “Loverboy” but fails to give Miss You Most at Xmas time or Faded any love or even Alone in love.
She is apart of an elite class of greatness many things can be said about her but one thing can not be denied is her lethal pen game her discography is one of greatest.
She is part of the very greatest group I agree. The talent and the phenomenon. The mix of both things only happens once in a long while. Lately it never happens in fact.
Nah, Whitney’s version of Joy to the World is the only version I know.
