The season 3 premiere date of breakout television hit, ‘Queen Sugar,’ has finally been revealed.
A consistent ratings winner for OWN, the Ava Duvernay-directed series saw its season 2 send off in mid-November 2017 – undoubtedly leaving fans hungry for the latest happenings with the Bordelons (Charley, Nova, and Ralph Angel).
After months of production, the ‘Queen’ team have finally lifted the lid on exciting details around the show’s Spring 2018 return:
Season 3 Premiere: May 29, 2018
[Season 3 of ‘Queen Sugar’] will premiere on May 29 and 30 at 10 p.m. each night. The third season of the show will have an all-woman directing team, including DeMane Davis, Patricia Cardoso, Maria Govan and Lauren Wolkstein.

this series is honestly one of the most prolific we have amongst all of the new all black cast productions that have been green-lit over the past few years. excellent acting, writing, direction and cinematography. the music score and visual landscaping of QUEEN SUGAR are by far, impeccable.
