Pop bops ‘Bon Appetit,’ ‘Swish Swish,’ and ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ may be linked to Katy Perry‘s worst performing LP to date – 2017’s ‘Witness’ – but that certainly hasn’t stopped the songstress from supporting the ill-fated project.
Beyond an accompanying tour and sharing multiple singles beyond its first superstar-assisted trio of releases, Perry, in an ode to the 1-year anniversary of the plexiglass-certified set, has unveiled its deluxe edition is now available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. Now, #KatyCats can enjoy the likes of “Dance With The Devil,” “Act My Age,” “Mind Maze,” and “Déjà Vu” on major streaming platforms.
As if that’s not enough, the Grammy-nominee took to her official Youtube page to show off some behind the scenes studio magic of some of the songs’ creation (namely ‘Power’). Look inside to watch it, stream the deluxe edition of ‘Witness,’ and more:
Perry is reportedly hard at work on the follow-up to ‘Witness.’ We may hear and see the fruit of that work as early as the top of next year.
Your thoughts?
Witness was actually a good album IMO they were some solid bops on there…and what’s up with the unnecessary shade written bout the certification of the album ?
@Liam – Yes!!! I love the album. I play it all the time.
I LOVE “Witness” and I play it all the time while driving. If you aren’t a mature, 21 and up, up, up, who’s into EDM style music then then isn’t the album for you.
*21 and up. Hey TGJ what’s with the shade Swish, Swish went platinum (Jan 2018) and Bon Apetite went Gold last year.
I liked witness .. because it was given a bad review I listen to every pop album after hers came out and none of them can touch it.
I’m not finna play with ya’ll shady asses talking about certified plexiglas! That was funny but ya’ll must stop being so mean lol.
