New Video: Troye Sivan & Ariana Grande – ‘Dance To This’

Published: Sunday 22nd Jul 2018 by Rashad

Troye Sivan‘s made it no secret that his latest international hit, ‘Dance To This,’ was inspired by Janet Jackson‘s 2004 hit ‘All Nite (Don’t Stop).’  Now, as its official accompanying video (directed by Bardia Zeinali) makes its rounds, that inspiration can be seen and heard manifold.

Tapping Ariana Grande to assist, the cut’s already managed to make a dent in U.K. and Australian charts, but now he’s undoubtedly looking to tackle the U.S. Hot 100 as well.

Will the video be just what the doctor ordered to help him achieve the feat? Watch inside and let us know:

I don’t take her music seriously!!

He is openly gay and could’ve done this duet with a male to make things different. Ariana brings nothing to the song, Adam Lambert would’ve made a better choice.

    They could’ve kept this video…

I don’t understand why the studios keep trying to shove Troye S down our throats. He’s so just OK, so many other artists out there that have more personality, etc. Well, must be nice to have the machine behind you. Not being a hater but I see his career going absolutely nowhere. He’ll be local famous but no one will remember this kid in 5 years.

His first album was decent, I think. But he somehow gets on my nerves. I don’t like him, can’t really tell you why. But I think these young kids just seem so unauthentic with their gayness, like that guy from years and years. Someone here mentioned Adam Lambert, for example. He was offensive, but always authentic and I celebrate him for that (and he is extremely talented, his tour with queen was just wow)
